Food Chains

  • A food chain shows the feeding relationship between an organism in which energy is transferred.
  • A food chain must always start with a producer e.g. a plant.

Grass - eaten by - Rabbit - eaten by - Fox

Plant - eaten by -  Herbivore - eaten by - Carnivore

Leaf - eaten by - Caterpillar - eaten by -  thrush - eaten by - Sparrow hawk
