There are two Irish Government organizations responsible for helping support, promote and develop Irish Industries.

The Industrial Development Agency (IDA) and Enterprise Ireland.

IDA

IDA Ireland partners with overseas companies to secure new investment in Ireland. They do this by:

  • Collaborating with foreign investors in Ireland to help them expand and develop their operations in Ireland.
  • Offering funding and grants in certain circumstances to those considering foreign direct investment in Ireland.

Enterprise Ireland

Enterprise Ireland is the government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets. All services are geared towards helping Irish companies win export sales. For Example:

  • Funding Supports - a range of supports for start-ups and business expansion plans.
  • Export assistance - including the provision of local market information and introductions for Irish companies to international customers.
  • Supports to develop competitiveness - helping companies to become leaner and more competitive in international markets.
  • Incentives to stimulate in - company research and development in new products, services and processes.
