Explain in detail the difference between monotheistic and polytheistic religions.

Monotheistic religions are religions where the believers in that religion believe that only one God is responsible for everything for example Christianity while polytheistic religions believe in multiple Gods for example Hinduism.

A monotheistic religion is a religion that believes in one God only E.g. Judaism, Islam, Christianity. A polytheistic religion is a religion that believes in more than one good e.g. Hinduism
