How to write beautiful texts?

Use more facts

Facts are the backbone of an article. The more data, figures and other factual information you gather, the better the content will be. Before you write your article, write down all the figures you have, and as you go along, make a note of what data you've already added.

How do you distinguish facts from "water"? If the sentence can be removed and the text does not lose anything in meaning and usefulness, then it is "water".

What should you do if the customer does not provide the facts? Try to find them on the Internet or on the client's website. If there is no background information at all, write the text with the data that are available.

Read good texts

There are sites with high quality content, both informational and commercial. Read texts on such sites and think about why the author wrote so, and not otherwise? Why did he choose this text plan? Why does he use such wording? Why is there a table added here and a list here?

It is important not just to read a lot, but also to analyse texts. Learn to see how the author worked on them and why he/she decided to write them this way. It is important to develop a professional view of the content.

Notice interesting techniques, wording, ideas and use them in your work. The more you read good texts, the faster you grow in copywriting.

Final revision of the text

Set the text aside for a while and then read it again. You will notice some flaws, word repetitions and other problems that need to be corrected. Work on the text. Change the wording. Clean up mistakes. This way you will improve the quality of the content.

Pay special attention to the following things:

1. The title of the text. It's OK to rewrite the headline 2-3 times before you find the best one. Learn to write headlines that grab attention and make you want to look at the text.
2. Lead (first paragraph).
3. Structure. It must follow a plan. Each point of the plan must have a subheading.
4. Content. Remove anything that does not make sense or provide value to the reader. The text may be shortened - this is normal.
5. Introductions, long sentences and long paragraphs. These are all better removed or reworked (shortened, simplified, split into several parts).
