Monotheistic religions - believe in one god only

Polytheistic religions - believe in multiple gods

A monotheistic religion is a religion that believes in one God only E.g. Judaism, Islam, Christianity. A polytheistic religion is a religion that believes in more than one good e.g. Hinduism

Monotheistic religions are religions where the believers in that religion believe that only one God is responsible for everything for example Christianity while polytheistic religions believe in multiple Gods for example Hinduism.
